Photos aren’t quite as vibrant as you would get from a dedicated photo printer, but for casual photos, it definitely does the job. One of the things that sets this printer apart is the fact that it supports Brother’s InkVestment system, and fancy name aside, I found that I was able to get plenty of mileage out of one tank. Brother rates InkVestment tanks as offering up to a full year of ink, and after a few months of casual use, I haven’t come close to needing to replace the cartridge. Setting up the Brother MFC-J6555DW is pretty easy, though it does take a few minutes.
You can also play Google Play movies with your Home device. Google Assistant now has six different voices to choose from, including a male voice, which is something that Alexa doesn’t yet have. Soon, Google will be adding the voice of John Legend as a choice as well.

After all, if it doesn't do well at interpreting your voice then you might as well use your phone instead. Pairing with services such as Spotify, Google Play Music, YouTube and TuneIn was easily accomplished within the Home app, which also enables you to choose a preferred provider. There’s a quirky range of voice commands for accessing news, playlists and podcasts from all of those services, too.
And while Google Home excels as a DJ, it’s also a surprisingly intelligent smart home hub. It already hooks into some of the largest platforms now by including Nest, Philips and Samsung’s SmartThings, and given a few months that number will grow even more. It’s also a pain to control playback once you’ve started casting. Instructing the speaker to ‘play’ or ‘pause’ works well, but if you tell it to play another song then it suddenly forgets that it’s casting and will instead play the new song from the Home’s own speaker.

Same thing I thought when my buddy was doing some browsing & reading DEEP into Google’s policies, prefs, and settings and came across the audio stuff. Him having random conversations infront of the computer.. Only to find out Most of those settings on my pc had been turned off and nothing had been recorded.
If you want one of the smartest artificial assistants out there then Google Home is the choice for you. If you want that without spending a lot then this will also leave you happy. And if you want decent sound without being too particular then this could be your ideal device with good looks as the sweetener to the deal. Google Cast is useful to have but in reality, if used with something like Spotify, you're limited.

You can only play one track at a time, across speakers, unlike the Sonos competition that lets you play multiple tracks on different speakers using the one Spotify account. According to TENAA’s listing, the OnePlus 11 will feature a 6.7″ QHD+ AMOLED display, an eight-core CPU clocked at 3.18GHz , two RAM (12GB/16GB) and storage (256GB/512GB) options, and a 4,870 mAh battery. OnePlus hasn’t shared many details about its 2023 flagship phone yet, but this week, GSMArena spotted a listing for the OnePlus 11 on the website of the Chinese certifying authority TENAA.
Right now, the Home’s biggest limitation is its “skills.” Alexa seems to gain skills at the rate of one per second, and it has more than 500,000 now. Some of these skills are pretty gimmicky, and you do have to enable them to use them. The Home just adds them as it gets them, which means you probably don’t even know what you have access to. If you go into the home app, hit menu, and press the Explore button, you’ll see all sorts of skills.

This is useful for anyone who listens to podcasts while cleaning the house or even while washing dishes. The Google Home was already a competent aide when it launched in November 2016, and it has only improved since then. It will now customize its responses for all of your family members based on who's talking. Each of your family members needs to download the Home app to a phone, then they will be able to train the Home to recognize their voices by repeating the wake words a couple of times.
It's a well-balanced smart speaker with tons of features. But if you have a specific need, there's likely a better smart speaker for you.
